I took a week off from school after dropping a class and switching to a different one. While it's frustrating to know that by doing so I pushed my graduation date back by a few weeks, I think that it was something that I really needed to do. I got sleep, got over the cold I was trying to ignore, and got the energy I needed to work at a couple of events with the Iron Toques (Wine & Spirits Magazine's top 100 event, breakfast for PHAMB, and the in-service breakfast at school for the instructors). The W&S event was amazing; I got to work with some great people and try some amazing food.
Anyway! Starting tomorrow evening, I'll be in cake decorating class for three weeks. Hopefully it'll go better this time around. >.>
Hmm... I have a job again. Kind of. I'm doing demos for Silver Moon Desserts, giving out samples of some really delicious liqueur-based ice creams and sorbets. (And yes, you have to be over 21 in order to try/buy them!) I've done two demos so far, and I have another scheduled for the 31st.
My dad finally gave me all of my mother's jewelry (minus a few pieces that I was fine with him keeping). It only took him three years to stop hiding the things everyone knew she wanted me to have after she passed. -.- I love the man, but he can be extremely frustrating sometimes. Anyway, I went through everything this weekend, kept most of the really nice things, and had my grandmother help me sort out the rest to sell or give to family. Also, I found some earrings I made in middle school that I never wore. XD
I have so many pictures I need to upload onto my computer from my phone. Bleh. I'll try doing that this week, and then see about posting some of them here. I know I want to post the pictures of the pizza I made during Bread Club, and perhaps the wedding cake I designed and made. There are so many other things I've made since I started school, that I don't even know where to start.
Well, it's late. I'm going to bed, or at least going back to my book before going to sleep.

I didn't realize you had one either until I saw a link to it on the ANN article you posted on Facebook. ^.^; The article was awesome, by the way!
Miss you already. D;

Miss you, too. ;_; My dad said he was going to send me the pictures he took on Sunday, so I'll forward them all on to you guys once he does. I also have a few pics on my phone that I need to upload onto my computer and forward on, too.
I've already finished all of the Twilight books and started on them all over again. XD Once the DVD of the movie comes out, we need to get people together and have a drinking game party. I can't stop laughing every time the color of Edward's eyes is mentioned, or how he sparkles.
As for the pic news, that is amazing. I need to upload some of the non-cosplay photos so I can share them with you all too!

And I'll think about doing fanart. >.>
I can't wait to see your non-cosplay pictures. I'm sure you got some amusing ones. And we all need to get together again soon to make some more good times, both cosplay and not.
